Many investors admire the skills of some of the world's most successful investors. They'd love to know what they are currently interesting in and perhaps mimic what they are doing, on a smaller scale of course. Recently they published an online article that gives specific names that some of the best are buying now. Let's take a look.

What's Warren Buffet Buying? The name Warren Buffet, also known as the Oracle of Omaha, is recognized around the world and known as one of the best investors of all time. Ho often makes big bets when he seen value. Mr. Buffet has recently acquired a large stake in Apple, which has become the largest holding in his legendary investment fund, Berkshire Hathaway. According to the Motley Fool, Mr. Buffet believes that Apple's brand loyalty is under-appreciated by the investors and that it will be a catalyst for continued outsized profits.

Should You Follow Dan Loeb's Recent Buy? Dan Loeb, the manager of the hedge fund Third Point, has demonstrated his stock-picking skill with a whopping return of over 15% since 1996. He now likes Netflix, and purchased 2 million shares in late 2017. Mr. Loeb loves the fact that Netflix has approximately 24 million subscribers. Netflix has strong revenue growth and could possibly triple is customer base according to the Motley Fool

Its Canadian roots give it home-grown insight into natural resource and energy trends. Recently the company added Suncor, the energy company, to its investment portfolio. Suncor has been given a black eye by the media and by investors because of its Western Canadian oil-sand business, and hence may be highly undervalued. The Motley Fool article point out that Suncor's oil production will jump 10 percent in the next few years.
