Da poco ha terminato il suo dottorato di ricerca in filosofia al Goldsmith College di Londra e al momento e’ impegnato nel lavoro al suo primo libro Joan of Art; Towards a Conceptual Militancy per Zer0 Books. Come curatore in residenza presso la Nomas Foundation di Roma, Mike Watson sta sviluppando un progetto sperimentale intitolato Joan of art; Towards a Free Education’.
An art critic and curator and theorist, Mike Watson lives and works in Rome. He writes for Frieze and Art Review, as Italy correspondent. He has recently concluded a Phd in Philosophy at Goldsmiths College in London, and is currently working on his first book ‘Joan of Art; Towards a Conceptual Militancy’ for Zer0 Books. As resident curator at Nomas Foundation in Rome, he is developing an experimental project entitled ‘Joan of art; Towards a Free Education’.

Ars Gratia Artis L’associazione culturale Ars Gratia Artis e’ stata fondata da Federica Forti nel 2008 durante l’organizzazione della mostra Genius Loci (www.geniusloci2008.org). Nel 2010 l’associazione ha organizzato la mostra personale dell’artista Mario Sasso inserita nel circuito della XIV Biennale di Scultura di Carrara. Dopo il progetto Destini Svelati / Eventi 2011, che ha animato il Museo del Marmo per tre giorni con conferenze, performance, laboratori didattici, presentazioni di attività culturali e l’importante donazione di due opere del video artistaMario Sasso, l’associazione culturale Ars Gratia Artis propone DATABASE, un calendario annuale pensato ad hoc per il Museo del Marmo.
The cultural association Ars Gratia Artis was founded by Federica Forti in 2008 in the occasion of the exhibition Genius Loci (www. geniusloci2008.org). In 2010 the association organized Mario Sasso solo show wich was included in the XIV Carrara Sculpture Biennal. Following the 2011 project Destini Svelati with which the Museum of Marble came alive for three days with lectures, workshops, cultural activities, and the important donation of two works by video artist Mario Sasso, in 2012 the cultural association Ars Gratia Artis presents DATABASE, a year-long schedule of events specifically catered to the Museum of Marble.
