of BLACK AMERICANS
BY BRITTNE ERIOS
After independence, the American vision was written down with a claim of equality in justice for all. However, two centuries later, inequality still roams freely in the country, with all economic, social, and political activities controlled through racial and ethnic lines. Brittne Erios’s brief essay mainly focuses on the racial injustice incessantly faced by the Black Community in the USA. While we all get to hear about police stops and killings without cause at the hands of law enforcement, one of the most pervasive ways the injustice manifests is the economic disparity and inequality between Black Americans and the majority population.
