Apantac is launching its new family of 4K converters to the European marketplace at IBC 2014These low-cost 4K conversion solutions are ideal for a vast variety of broadcast and professional audio visual applications, including; mobile outside broadcast, events, rental & staging, video wall applications, multiviewer applications, 4K production, as well as many other on and off-set monitoring and conversion applications. They are part of Apantac's CRESCENT line of signal processing solutions.

ATG Danmon will be represented by Christoffer Kay (Managing Director), Clive Northen (Chief Operating Officer), Tim Felstead (Head of Sales & Marketing), Dave Whitaker (Senior Project Manager), Jonathan Hughes (Head of Systems Integration) and Chris Elson (Product Sales Manager).

Micro-4K: 4K to HD Down-Converter This mini converter down-converts four 3G-SDI signals from professional 4K/QFHD @ 50/59.94/60 Hz equipment. The Micro-4K four 3G-SDI inputs are down-converted to both HDMI and SDI simultaneously, with outputs up to 1080P. UHD sources can now affordably be viewed on inexpensive LCD monitors or routed in the existing 3G infrastructure, making this an ideal solution for 4K broadcast and mobile production.

"Efficient software integration is becoming an increasingly important element of multimedia systems design, accelerated by the growing use of file-based data management for local content networking and wide-area distribution," comments Clive Northern. "ATG Danmon has unsurpassed experience in designing and delivering successful file-based systems. These allow efficient content sharing and the handling of multiple signal standards within an operatorfriendly control environment." Dan Technologies System Integration Division operates from offices in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Dubai and Vietnam.

Micro-4K-DP: 4K to Display Port 1.2 Converter The Micro-4K-DP provides an affordable solution for viewing 4K/UHD content at 4K/UHD resolution on monitors that use Display Port 1.2 (DP 1.2). Display Port is a display interface that is an alternative to HDMI. The Micro-4K-DP accepts four 3G-SDI signals from professional 4K/QFHD @ 50/59.94/60 Hz equipment and is an ideal solution for 4K /UHD production applications.

Bluebell Stand 10.F24 Bluebell will be demonstrating complete cameras chains multiplexed onto SMPTE Hybrid cable for easier on-site deployment. Based on the popular BC Series footprint we can offer a complete Wavelength Management facility while also providing all the Camera and CCU communications. The Bluebell solution allows multiple cameras to be deployed during an event and connected over a single SMPTE cable thus reducing rigging time. This solution is particularly compact and while 4 cameras can easily be deployed over one cable, 8 or even 16 cameras are readily achievable.

TMBi - 50

Based around the new BC364 cards and BC160 frames this solution can also be used to ensure all signals are available when the fibre count is reduced due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. damaged fibres unreported prior to arrival on-site. Based around an extremely compact 1RU frame, at less than 150 mm (excluding connectors), it is particularly attractive in any flyaway system. IBC 2014 will also show expansion to the Caddie-LB range, specifically designed for Outside Broadcast and deployable applications. Caddie-LB 4K provides a single cable link between cameras and ENG/OBs. Features include four 3G/HD/SD-SDI video paths to provide 4K feeds from the camera, on-air and comms audio, plus control and Ethernet data.
