ULCANS Ultra Lightweight Camouflage Net System ULCANS is a proven system used by the U.S. Armed Forces to enhance survivability. The net system protects against visual, near-infrared, thermal-infrared, and radar threats. Visibility of the surrounding area is possible from the inside of the net. ULCANS also offers significant reduction in UV radiation and heating from solar radiation. Each system consists of one hexagon and one rhomboidal net, support poles and shape disrupters, stakes, and a carry bag. ULCANS is available in woodland and desert colors, as well as radar transparent and radar scattering variants. More than 500,000 systems have been fielded by the U.S. Military.
