Hard Knocks Hostel
low-budget film community, creating a film or short or web series doesn’t need to cost a fortune. Where are you filming it? Inishmore. There will be a group of us in a hostel, so it’s going to be very intense. The actors don’t get paid; they want stuff for their show reel. It’s like a mutually beneficial experience.
How is the Little Cinema helping young filmmakers in Galway? It is one of the only platforms that we have. Anyone can go out with their cameras and you can shoot whatever you want. They are very encouraging. They see it as a learning curve. What are your plans for 2015?
What filmmakers inspire your work?
We are moving to Canada and there is a possibility of having season two in Canada.
That’s a tough one. This is my first comedy that I’ve done. Its kind of new ground for me.
For anyone out there interested in seeing the series where can they find it?
How much work goes into a production like this?
Like us on our facebook page Hard Knocks Hostel. It will be ready to view at the end of November.
Every spare moment goes into this because I love it. I genuinely love it. It doesn’t feel like work.
Our website will also go live then too.
