concept Turin

is certainly one of the italian cities that in the years distinguished itself as an industrial pole; but lately, however, its creative side came out. TOORIN!’s aim is to comunicate this side of the city that, being new, it’s still raw and experimental. The idea of our project revolves around the concept of experimentation, seen as a first moment of disturbance and deformation, by using torino the language of "photo he language of "photo splitting", inspired by the work.

logo The

name chosen comes from the deformation of the word “Torino”. By playing with the english pronunciation (Turin) and the piedmontese one (Türin), “Toorin!”wants to create a contrast between the roots and the international part of the city while the payoff “the creative system” explains the nature of the project. Following this reasoning, the logo was born by experimenting with the shape of the letters, which have been broken and recomposed in order to create something different.

The

logo was built following the fragmented style of the campaign. The word TOORIN! is uppercase, in bold, to strengthen the impact with which we want promote and convey the idea of a new, expanding city. The clear area (safe zone) is given by the "O" of the name. The payoff is detached from the logo as much as the body itself. The secondary mark, horizontally developed, keeps the language of fragmentation. The broken geometries are placed on the left

reduce the size to a minimum, in both versions is necessary to remove the payoff from the logo. fonts The

main font is Roboto Mono, with linear and highly legible glyphs, and with piedmontese roots. As the name suggests, it's simple and clean, ideal to create contrast with the deformation language. It is used in bold, medium and light weights, as needed.

order to preserve the legibility and the clarity of the logo a few rules must be followed: neither logo nor payoff can be returned in shades otherthan the ones provided; the word “TOORIN!� has to be written in uppercase and any unforeseen deformation or oblique positioning is strictly prohibited.




flyers Flyers

are a fundamental support in the campaign's unveiling phase. In addition to recalling the posters and their claims of the approach phase, these 105x148mm flyers reveal to the user all the informations needed to get in touch with the system, including the identity of “Toorin!�, the social medias, the app and the site.


posters The

500x700mm posters are already used in the approach step of the campaign: the aim here is to capture the attention of the user and tickle his/her interest. The campaign is a multi-subject one, divided into nine posters, three by theme (figurative arts, performing arts and design), representing the ambitions of the system by using the same language along with a fun and essential style. During the unveiling phase, information about the site and the social are added.

site reports the events of the current month and displays a map to view them on. It is also possible to set search-filters to reduce the amount of data displayed. In addition, the user has the option to access his personal page in order to receive information based on his/her preferences.
