VISUAL IDENTITY



Dais is a platform for young creative people to showcase who they are. Giving an insight into innovative minds across a range of disciplines. The publication has been created with the mindset that it is ever changing, therefore these guidelines cover the general rules of the way Dais is to be presented. Dais has a small online presence in the form of a blog where young creative people can submit their work to be featured. The brand aims to offer a steady platform for young people in limbo between education and the professional world, giving them a chance to present themselves as young professional practitioners. The ‘visual identity’ provides the guidelines required to create Dais. This information outlines the rules on how to use them. They must be used consistently, as even small variations in the reproduction of the identity could reduce the brands effectiveness. Dais

Contents


The logo should be visible on all communications in some form, to create a consistent language. It should not be redrawn and should not be enclosed within a box. The logo may be used in various colours, following the general colourway of the subject it is applied to.

Dais should be referred to as the brand name and should always be written with an initial capital — e.g. Dais, not dais.

Dais is not defined by any specific colours. This palette has been created for the Summer 2014 publication. Four main colours are suggested and could be used in a tetrad ‘double complimentary’ style.
