Initial Recce and Shoot

I made a couple of other prints from our initial roll, but they looked, to be frank, terrible. My prints weren’t great, and I was struggling to judge how long I needed to expose the paper for as the test strips were running across areas of different density negative. All my prints ended up not getting enough time and being too bright. I did like the photos, but the buildings are quite distant and there isn’t a lot of interest in the foreground to balance out the frame.

The image on the right here is okay, and is held up by the sun catching the sitting person’s balloon. If the camera was closer to the subject, I feel it could have work very well as an environmental portrait.
