The Pharaoh Frame Timber Library is a unique architectural masterpiece, made entirely out of timber, located in a serene environment that creates a perfect atmosphere for learning and relaxation. The library boasts of a variety of programs that cater to the diverse needs of its users. For starters, the library has a well-stocked book collection that covers virtually all areas of knowledge, from the sciences to the humanities. These books are carefully curated to ensure that they are current, relevant, and informative. In addition to the book collection, the library has a computer lab that is equipped with modern computer systems and software. The Pharaoh timber frame library is an addition to the SUNY ESF Franklin Moon library. My building is made up of 70 percent of mass timber and the remaining 30 percent is the existing bricks. I wanted the addition to have more natural light coming inside the building for the students can feel one with nature. The landscape represents building blocks leading up to the pyramid design concept.
