I used to pay 900 for the insurance, then it raised to 1200 and now they ask me for 2300 for the third year renewal. What should I do if my attorney is not paying me my insurance money(california)? ok.. I've filed a claim against my home insurance company through a lawyer. It was a house related claim. I was told my claim was settled and signed the settlement paper from attorney's office about 5 months ago and still have not received the money yet.

So I called the actual insurance company and found out that the money was paid out 4 months ago. When I called my attorney's office, 4 different agents told me different stories and I noticed they might be trying to keep the money. is there any way to file a claim against lawyers?
