THE STANDARDS

GORE-TEX LINERS

Our Badge

We are craftsmen. We pay attention to details. We forgo quantity for quality, knowing that the product we build is only as good as the hands that create it.

Design Construction

Product design is a vast collection of intricate details, from the last the boot is built on, to the stitching that binds each pattern piece together. And to a Danner boot, these are the details that set it apart.

In 1979, Danner ® became the first boot maker to use GORE-TEX liners. We consider this setting standards, not simply meeting them.

Grading Leather Leather Cutting

The only way to ensure the quality of a Danner boot is to ensure the quality of the materials we use. That’s why every hide of leather is graded through a series of six tests, which check for flexibility and durability.

Handcrafting

There are more efficient ways to manufacture a boot but there is only one way to craft a boot with the fit, comfort and durability of a Danner boot – and that’s by hand.

Built To Last

Every hide is unique, as is our tradition of both cutting by hand and using the latest in laser technology. It’s the only way to guarantee the best part of each hide is used.

A pair of Danner boots can go a long way. And since many Danner boots can be recrafted by replacing the outsoles, reworking leather, and restitching seams, a pair of Danner boots can last even longer.

VIBRAM ® OUTSOLES

The mark of a true craftsman comes from developing product that withstands the test of time year after year – and Vibram ® exemplifies this. And that’s why Danner ® is proud to develop outsole designs with Vibram ® .
