Lee DerHagopian writes, “March 2017 marked the 7-year anniversary for Flora Explora! Running my own business has been both exciting and rewarding yet challenging and exhausting at times. But the genuine sense of meaning and satisfaction is priceless. We continue to grow year after year, and we now dominate the commercial landscape market in Downtown Boston. Our niche as seasonal color specialists has really transformed the outdoor urban experience. We have more than 200 outdoor planters and 700 hanging planters that we design, install and maintain. We also offer interior plant design, installation and maintenance services as well as holiday design. It’s a wonderful calling, making the world a more beautiful place. No complaints on the home front here in Medfield, Mass. We’re looking forward to weekends at our cottage in Antrim, N.H. Love to make time to connect with my DH friends, a few of whom I have seen this year, including Kimberly Heath and Heather (Feather) McHutchinson, and Ruthann Smith (while vacationing in Florida). Drop me a line or shoot me an email if you ever want to connect: (617)-850-5192 or lee@ floraexplora.com.”
Lisa Iagatta and I (Christina Whiting Dougherty) love hearing from you! Please write in with any and all updates.
Caroline Wells writes, “I just started at an awesome job at Harper Collins in New York City near the World Trade Center. I work in the kids/young adults books department, and I love it!”
It is always special when we find out that one of our classmates has decided to send their own daughter/daughters to Dana Hall! T. Alexandra (Lexi) Schilling Gibb’s twin daughters, Tattie and Lele, will be attending Dana Hall in the fall as 6th graders (Class of 2024) and are so excited! Elizabeth (Beth) Bronstein Best’s daughter Halle will be attending Dana Hall in the fall as a 9th grader (Class of 2021)! We hope you have a wonderful summer, and look forward to hearing from you again soon!

Georgia Critsley writes, “I’m currently working at the Executive Office of the Massachusetts Trial Court as the director of Legislative Policy and Government Relations. I was honored in late 2016 by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as one of their 2016 Top Women of Law. I’m also serving as the chair of the Criminal Justice Section Council for the Massachusetts Bar Association this year and still teaching as an adjunct professor at Suffolk University. My twins, Christian and Catherine, are turning 16 this year and I can’t believe that we are going to start looking at colleges next year.”
Lisa Olszewski writes, “2016 was big! We became Aussie citizens! We maintain our U.S. citizenship, so we are officially ‘Ausmericans.’ After 6+ years at World Vision Australia, I started a new role in local government doing continuous improvement and change management. It is a fascinating sector; the learning curve is steep, which keeps it interesting! I celebrated my 50th with a trip to Disney World with my daughter, mom, brother and 4-year-old niece, followed by a few days in Boston where I caught up with some Dana friends. I was in Boston again this summer. Zoe spent two weeks at a summer camp in New Hampshire for her winter holidays. That’s the advantage of living in another hemisphere and having long vacations!”

Lee Adams Huth writes, “I went on a wonderful trip to Italy with my sister, Kim Adams Harvey ’82. We traveled with her 21-year-old son, Kyle, who is stationed with the Army outside of Venice. We travelled to Venice, Florence and Rome. The food, wine, art, architecture, history and culture were incredible. Also, I will be an empty nester in the next year and half as my oldest daughter, Kendra, is attending the University of Maine Honors College this coming fall, majoring in pre-vet sciences. My youngest daughter, Kailey, will be applying to college/nursing school for the fall of 2018. Exciting but hard to believe.”
Macy Kingsbury de la Guardia writes, “I saw Laura Levering O’Connell in Stowe, Vt., in January and she’s great! I’m still living in Panama and spending summers in New England, and am always interested in catching up with Dana classmates! Panama is a great place to escape the cold in the winter, so come and visit!”
