College of Wooster and was studying in Geneva, Switzerland, this past term. We planned to travel to meet him, and will visit Geneva, France and Barcelona. Been married almost 27 years! My husband and I closed our law firm this year and joined a 650-person national firm. Did not ever think I would want to be in a big firm, but I’m enjoying the people, camaraderie and having young associates to help with my work! While I have been fortunate to have a job, I look forward to slowing down a bit in the future. We sold our house last year and moved into the ‘city.’ We love the smaller space and are saving our money to be able to travel more. Life is so short. Can’t believe it’s been 35 years since we were at Dana Hall. Those were still the best years of my childhood and I have so much respect and admiration for my classmates. Keep up the great work, all.” Joanne Saint-Louis Butterfield writes, “I don’t have too much to report. Samantha graduated from Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles, Henry is at Washington College playing baseball and Graham is a sophomore at St. Mark’s. I’m still at Derby and work in secondary school placement. Love helping the 8th graders find the right-fit high school, many of whom have applied to Dana. Still in Hingham. It’s always fun getting together with Dana classmates and attending alumnae functions. It’s great to see that Dana graduates continue to be smart, strong and interesting woman!” Susan Gibbons Gray writes, “Had a great catch-up with Sally Hildreth when she visited Bermuda a couple of weeks ago. Annabelle is living in Bermuda and working at PWC. Emily is living in Boston and working at Rue La La. Jonathan and I will celebrate our 30th anniversary in July! We will spend some time this spring and summer on our boat, traveling up the East Coast starting from Florida in mid-May.” Cynthia Ewing Miller writes, “I retired from my psychology practice last fall. Been busy managing family monkey business. My husband and I will be in Chicago a few times this summer visiting the grandkids (stepdaughters). Golf is the focus after family. Annual trip to Bermuda beginning June, across the pond later in the summer to hit the links. I will be one of those adult children who goes on a cruise with their mother this fall. My how life has changed.” Tina Gross Kruczynski writes, “I’m in my fourth year at MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association as program/account

manager. I really enjoy working with the MIT community. My son Nick is a sophomore at Pomfret School in Connecticut, which has brought back many memories of my time at Dana and the private school world. He is a boarder, which is a whole new world for me. My daughter Eliza is a junior at Quinnipiac University, majoring in broadcast journalism and aspiring to be a news anchor. Chris and I are empty-nesters still living in Natick, Mass., after 20 years. I really enjoy going to Dana alumnae events and reconnecting with classmates, and especially getting together with Jennifer Beecher Cooper and her family.”

As for me (Anne Morton August), my brother-in-law Larry Sudlow, whom some of you knew, died of malignant melanoma on April 30, 2019. It is a cruel, devastating disease. Please make sure you are having regular dermatologist appointments. In happier family news, son Sam has spent several months on the road, recording and touring with his band The Ultra. They will be playing in the Boston area all summer. They’re on Spotify, YouTube and iTunes! Steve and I will be having our 30th anniversary in January 2020 and are starting to plan a trip to England. Our grandson Niko will be starting kindergarten at Tenacre in September 2019. He will overlap with Shannon O’Keefe Redgate ’87’s youngest daughter who will be in 6th grade. The world is small! Thank you all for keeping in touch! I hope everyone stays happy and healthy in 2019.
Class of 1983 Laura Lavit Elmore lauralelmore@yahoo.com Ana Esteves lives in Puerto Rico and is going to be in the Boston area more frequently when her daughter starts at Boston College in the fall. She is a proud mama and loving the fact that she can visit
Boston more frequently. Reach out to her if you have kids in the area. Merri Zieman Gutfleish says hi. Page Franson had a great time at She Sails, found it as inspiring as ever and connected with Stacey Arbetter ’81. Lisa Glazer has her first child going to college in the fall, too. Kerry Nordstrom Giza’s youngest daughter will have graduated from The George Washington University by the time the Bulletin goes to print. She will be going to grad school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work starting in the fall. My (Laura Lavit Elmore) oldest graduated from Ohio Wesleyan in May. I stay busy sculpting and keeping up with my youngest, who will be a boarder at The Hill School in the fall. Abby Fligor has gotten back into horseback riding and not just for a vacation! She is half leasing a Bavarian Warmblood named Girlie who lives at Eleazer Davis Farm in Bedford, Mass., and intends to compete in an event or horseshow this summer. It will be the first time since she was at Dana!
Class of 1984 Leah Morris P23 jmorrisfamily@comcast.net For those in attendance, our 35th Reunion proved fun! It coincided with She Sails, an exciting and spirited celebration of Dana Hall alumnae who come together every other year to share their life’s experiences and expertise with the girls and others in our community. Our classmate, Karen Middleton, served on a panel discussion entitled Beyond the Ballot: A Civic Engagement Playbook which, sadly, I missed due to a prior engagement. It is truly an amazing day and I always leave feeling joyfully inspired by this newer Dana Hall tradition! That evening, Kristin Crowder Dollan hosted an intimate dinner for our class at her home and on Sunday morning, Melissa Cross Bowser and I (Leah Morris) attended the Memorial Service. On a less upbeat note, our class has experienced some sadness in the last year. Nicola Gallitano Corrigan passed away in June after a courageous battle with cancer. Nikki is survived by her loving husband of 16 years James M. Corrigan, her beloved daughter Sophia C. Corrigan of Wayland, her devoted parents George and JoAnne (DeMarco) Gallitano of Waltham, four siblings and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As described in
