From this core purpose statement, came the mission statement - “Nurturing and facilitating entrepreneurship to build a truly global enterprise by providing a platform of over three decades of business experience, reputation, corporate strength and environment conducive for growth of all.� The next task was to create Mission statements for all the six businesses, which was achieved by the end of the session. It was a great learning experience to see how a Vision statement could redefine the business and create energy. For example, the International Business Division (IBD), before this intervention, believed that they were in the Trading business.
