Some may be surprised to learn that the California comic’s works have sold millions of albums and resulted in four Grammy Awards as well as four gold and six platinum records in the U.S. during his career. The king of musical parody staged his Mandatory World Tour in 2015. It was wildly successful, so much so that the four-time Grammy-winning artist has kept it going.

He started his career at age 20, and before long was performing on “Def Comedy Jam.” Since then, the comedic actor from Atlanta has gained superstar status working as Smokey in Friday and in the Rush Hour film series with Jackie Chan. As a stand up artist, he’s a mind-blower, a huge favorite with audiences in large concert halls and venues

Since the 70’s the Red, White and Blue guitarist has been playing hits including “Journey to the Center of your Mind” and “Cat Scratch Fever.”

From his early TV role on “Degrassi: The Next Generation” up through his Grammy winning music career, the superstar rapper has it all.

The former “SNL” player’s had a decent career working in movies. He’s currently starring in his own innovative series, “Real Rob.”
