FROM THE DESK OF CARI CUNNINGHAM

Dallas Athletic Club continues to thrive with inquires and interest! Members have been sharing the Club with their friends and activity from tours has been steady. Please keep in mind that the invitation process is not just a matter of writing the Club a check.

The vetting process can take up to 35 days. The Membership Committee does their due diligence by studying, discussing and voting on all new member applications, category requests and trends from previous months. Then, the Board of Directors reviews the recommendations made by the Committee and votes on new member applications to invite into our DAC Membership.

For your convenience, Membership information is listed on the private side of the website under the “My Club” tab, at the front desk, or you can contact me directly and I would be delighted to send the information directly to your prospects. If they are not ready to commit just yet, I encourage you to invite them to experience your Club first hand! Here are some of my favorite activities that will be happening in the next couple of months: Labor Day Weekend - Bring your family and friends to celebrate the last of these hot summer days with a BBQ Brisket and some delicious sides!

The Return of Friday Night Music on the Lawn Invite your friends to listen to live music on the Royal Room lawn to kick off the weekend!

Wednesday Family Night is back! Family night will now include live entertainment! Whether it be a Mad Scientist or Reptilian Expert, you and your family will enjoy this dining experience.

Turkey Time - Thanksgiving at the Club or ordering for home, is always better than standing in the kitchen for hours. From freshly baked pies down to grandma’s gravy, we’ve got you covered!

These are just a few of the things I am most looking forward to this Fall. When a celebration only comes once a year, you know you won’t want to miss it!

Cheers,

Cari Cunningham, Membership Director
