he Equestrians Federation has organized a course in qualifyingTent- Picking jockeys for five days with the participation of 24 jockeys as part of its plan to popularize the above mentioned game. Twelve of the participants were from different Arab countries such as; (Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Libya). The rest of the participants were from different Omani regions. The course took place at AlRahba farm in the Wilyat of Barka. The main goal of conducting such a course is to popularize this sport among Arab countries and among Equestrians’ clubs and committees within the Sultanate. Moreover, to make the participants acquire the benefits of the course lessons and dissertations. Also, to enhance their talents and

qualify those participants in order to perform the national tasks assigned to them. In this contest, the Equestrians organized high level meeting between the members of the Equestrians’ Board of Directors and the course participants. In the meeting they have discussed the benefits of this course, proposals and opinions raised up around this issue and the board of directors urged the participants about the importance of popularizing tent- picking game in their countries by either teaching other jockeys or promoting it through conducting it regularly. In addition, the board of directors have emphasized on taking the efforts and easing all obstacles to highlight and popularize Tent-Picking game among all arab countries.
