In case you’ve not met us in person, we are Chris and Amber King. We’ve been in demand, as professional photographers, since 2010 when our mutual passion of taking photographs grew into a stream of requests from friends and family. Within months, that stream was a river. Today, we are flooded with amazing clients who appreciate our passion and desire the best in photography and service. Daisy Frames Photography is the name Amber selected, long before we considered doing photography full-time. The name stuck as we enjoyed great brand recognition. We embrace what we have created for you and we appreciate everyone’s trust in our talents.
Chris has his B.A. in Communications & Film with a minor in photography and has created photos since he was young. Amber has become one of the top photo editors in the region and is responsible for all editing and orders. Together, we offer you nearly 30 years of experience. Thank you, again, for choosing us!

STUDIO RENTAL FLAT FEE - 50
This flat fee is only charged if you request studio time and is not an hourly charge.
MOBILE STUDIO - 200
We are fully equiped to bring a studio to your home or other location. This fee includes one hour of session time with additional hours charged at the basic hourly rate.
WEDDINGS BY THE HOUR - 250
Includes two photographer coverage and a one-hour engagement session as well as a printed proof book of wedding images. Additional fees for mileage, overnight stays and miscellaneous items may apply.
COMMERCIAL - 250
We have served clients from coast-to-coast and can work within given parameters to complete most projects.
PACKAGES
Daisy Frames Photography does not offer packaged services/prints at this time. It is our experience that packages force consumers into purchashing items they don’t want, in order to get what they do want. The perceived savings are negated by the studio’s desire to simplify their own work load. For this reason, we offer highly competitive pricing and volume discounts, based on each client’s needs. because we’ve been asked... Q) What does the “Session Fee” cover? A) Your session fee is the charge we collect for our time to create your images. The fee includes the use of our professional cameras and lenses, lighting, computers and software to process your images as well as our knowledge and experience in creating beautiful, unique portraits. Keep in mind, we have costs for such things as insurance, fuel, batteries, memory cards, professional memberships, etc. that we must pay to continue providing you with the best possible images. Our session fees are generally lower than any other full-service, professional photographer in our area and we take pride in our ability to control cost while offering a quality product and unparalleled service. We encourage you to make absolutely certain that your photographer is covered by insurance, for your own peace-of-mind. Q) Can I get my images digitally? A) If requested, Daisy Frames Photography provides digital files at a rate of$250 per image. A limited print release will allow for prints of only the images, as cropped and edited. Any violation of this release is strictly forbidden and Daisy Frames Photography reserves the right to compensation under applicable copyright protections. With your order, a personal image app is available and provides edited, high-quality, screen resolution images for youto share. Q) Can my newborn’s brother/sister be part of my newborn session? A) We’ve had very little luck bringing siblings into newborn shoots. Keep in mind that your new addition to the family has created some stress and possibly jealousy with big brother/sister and that can manifest itself through crying, disobedience, and hostility on the part of your other children. We have seen it time after time and, for the sake of capturing perfect moments for you with the least amount of stress on you and your family, we do not recommend trying to get other children involved in the newborn sessions. If you would like to look 6 months down the road at a more family-oriented session, we welcome that as it generally gives the others in the family time to adjust to the new addition. Q) Do you charge for editing or “retouching” photos? A) We charge for the time it takes to edit images by publishing our print prices with the fees built into the first image ordered from a single pose. All additional prints ordered from the pose will then be discounted with only the largest print, up to 11x14, being full-price. Keep in mind, the larger the print being ordered, the more we have to examine and edit the image to make it perfect. Small imperfections can look very obvious when you enlarge an image. Every image that you order prints of must be processed and edited to craft the best possible product for you. In most cases we attempt to make the image’s color and details as close to life-like as possible. We do not over-saturate or over-enhance aspects of the image that might make it look artificial. However, skin blemishes, wrinkles, lips, teeth, eyes and hair are often edited to enhance the image. When we create “art,” all bets are off and we can do some mind-blowing effects!
Q) Why are your prices so low? A) We are asked this question quite often. The simple answer is, low overhead. Daisy Frames Photography does not own a studio. If needed, we rent studio space. This saves us a great deal of expense. The offices of Daisy Frames are located in the same offices as Ravenscroft Creative in downtown Burlington. These businesses are owned by Chris and Amber. By sharing expenses across all of our business ventures, we can pass along the savings to you. We have realized explosive growth and continue to offer the best service in the area on professional, creative photography. By continuing to focus on low overhead costs and close client relationships, we will be around for the long-haul! Q) I have a friend with a nice digital camera and she said she would take my pictures. Why shouldn’t I let her? A) A friend with a digital camera is exactly that. We encourage expression through photography and if you want to have a friend take pictures for you, by all means, have fun and enjoy the experience. What we have found is that most people who offer to take a few photos have little experience with lighting, posing, photo editing, business or liability. Even people who post on facebook and have a “business,” often have not registered with the state, do not have a sales tax permit and likely have absolutely no liability protection in case of an accident. When you take the time to purchase clothing, get your hair done, dress the kids, schedule time and want memories that you’re proud to display on your wall, you likely don’t want to be left with a CD of files or images that make your skin look like an Oompa Loompa (orange). Our clients trust us to make them look great and then deliver beautiful prints and products they are proud to show others. We like to use the analogy of having your car painted. Replace the question above with “ I have a friend with a nice can of spray paint and she said she would paint my car. Why shouldn’t I let her?” Would you let her paint your car or would you rather have a professional take care of that? Q) I have a friend who was a “model,” for Daisy Frames. What’s that all about? A) Every Spring we begin looking for a few, select high school Juniors who will be Seniors in the upcoming school year. After an application and interview process, we select Seniors from area schools to represent us through the year. Discounts and special offers, exclusive apparel and fun photo sessions throughout the year are offered to these models. A) Following your session, a Reveal & Order session will be scheduled. This will be your opportunity to enjoy your images for the first time and select your prints. You will enjoy a 10% discount when your order is placed at your scheduled order session. Images you select for prints at this session can be placed in an online ordering gallery if you have family outside the area who may want to order prints. You may reschedule this session once, and retain your discount. In the event you do not show up, or contact us, your discount will be surrendered.
