The Holstein Cow, Musette 3213 HHB, bred by C. Visser, Beemster, North Holland was imported by George E. Brown & Co. in September of 1882. Eight generations later this family produced Pansy Canary Teake, the first of the Pansy family to carry that name. She was the great grandam of Pansy Dewdrop Heilo. Dewdrop Heilo placed second at Canada’s Royal Winter Fair for Harold James, Sarnia in 1946. Her daughter, Pansy Dewdrop Perfection “VG”, won the 4-yrold class at London in 1949 and went on to be nominated for All-Canadian. Perfection’s daughter, Denfield Dewdrop Sovereign “EX-7 Star” produced 2 Superior Production records with a top of 27,458 4.0 1098. She became the lead cow in a family of nine generations of Excellents. Her most famous daughter was Denfield Fond Hope Pansy “EX-5 Star” with 25,527 4.7 1221. Pansy was the All-Canadian 4-yr-old of 1958. Fond Hope Pansy was the dam of Sheffield Climax Pansy “EX-8 Star” with 26,607 4.6 1219. Climax Pansy was H.M. All-Canadian and the dam of the All-Canadian Produce of 1968, 1969, 1970. She also produced four Excellent progeny, Agro Acres Unique “EX-ST”, Agro Acres Demand “EX-ST”, Agro Acres Marquis Patsy “EX-8 Star”, and Agro Acres Pansy Honor “EX”. Agro Acres Marquis Patsy “EX-8*” was twice All-Canadian, and Grand Champion at the Royal in 1969, and a member of the All-Canadian Produce in 1968, 1969, 1970. Her full sister Agro Acres Xmas Pansy was named Reserve Grand at the 1969 Royal, making these sisters the only pair to accomplish this honor in the history of the Royal. Marquis Patsy’s Roeland Reflection Sovereign daughter, Agro Acres Reflection Patsy “EX-3 Star”, became the fifth direct generation to be scored Excellent. Her daughter by Lakefield Fond Hope “EX”, Agro Acres Fabulous Patsy

“EX”, became the sixth and Agro Acres Fabulous R “EX” , by Rosafe Citation R “EX” the seventh. Fabulous R's NoNa-Me Fond Matt daughter, Agro Acres F M Fabiola “EX” became the eighth generation Excellent. The family was then sold to Dreamstreet Holsteins of New York. At Dreamstreet Fabiola was bred to Paclamar Astronaut to produce the ninth generation, Dreamstreet Astronaut Fable “EX90-DOM”. Fable produced a daughter by Dreamstreet Odyssey “EX95-ST”, Dreamstreet Odyssey Fayble. She would go on to score “VG88”. Many of the Dreamstreet cows were then moved to Masstock Dairy in Georgia. At Masstock, Odyssey Fable was mated to Lylehaven Mist Mandalay to produce Masstock Mandalay Fayble “VG87” with 28680 3.5 1017. This cow was purchased by Byron Bryant’s Victory-View Farm. At Victory-View when bred to Puget Sound Sultan the family returned to the Excellant ranks when Victory-View Sultan Fayble scored "2EX92". Sultan Fayble, when mated to Pinehurst Malibu, produced Victory-View Malibu Fable “2EX91”. Sultan Fayble, when mated to Pinehurst Malibu, produced Victory-View Malibu Fable "2EX91". Her maternal sister, Victory-View FaybleRed-ET, scored Excellent-2E93 andproduced 1787 pounds of fat at six years. She was sired by Maughlin Storm “EXExtra”. Storm also traces in direct line to Musette. FaybleRed has a three-yr-old daughter by Markwell Kite that has been recently scored Excellent-94 and finished her 3-yearold record with 33215 3.7 1224 3.2 1063. Malibu Fayble's daughter, Victory-View Fawn, also scored Excellent. The family established by Musette has produced several highly significant sires over the years. All-American Get of 1970. More recently, Maughlin Storm, Premier Sire at The Royal in 2002. Victory-View Fayble-Red “2EX93” and her daughter, Victory-View Foxy-Red “2EX94” by Markwell Kite “EX” came to Pinehurst in May of 2005. This family fits our program perfectly, a family of longevity, high production, show ring success, with a sire stack that writes like a who's who of Holstein royalty. This line, coupled with the great cow families added through the sire side such as the Audrey Posch family with Pinehurst Malibu, the Puget Sound Phoebe family through Puget Sound Sultan, the Mity Fine Matt Misty family through Lylehaven Mist Mandalay, the Hiawatha family through Dreamstreet Odyssey, Rose Milly through Astronaut, combines the very best maternal lines yet produced by the Holstein breed. At our Dispersal in 2008 Victory-View Foxy "Excellent2E92" topped the sale at $35,000. She has since been raised to Excellent-2E94. Two members of the family remained at Pinehurst after the 2008 sale. Victory-View Fawn, a daughter of Malibu Fayble that was unsound at the time, but would later score Excellent, and a heifer twin to a bull from Victory-View Fable "3EX93". This heifer, Pinehurst Lady Pansy, proved to be a breeder and together with Fawn now carry the family forward at Pinehurst. Lady Pansy now has a daughter by Regancrest Elton Durham. Fawn has two heifers, Pinehurst Lady Fable by Braedale Goldwyn, and Pinehurst Lady Angel by Comestar Stormatic. Lady Pansy gave us a heifer by Regancrest Elton Durham in April of 2010. If one tends to dream, what a dream could be built around these three great pedigreed heifers.
