Gati Shakti units created in 68 divisions of Indian Railways

NEW DELHI - Railways is one of the key drivers of the PMGatiShaktiNationalMasterPlan.MinistryofRailways has set up a multi-disciplinary Gati Shakti Directorate in Railway Board. The Gati Shakti Units in all 68 divisions are alsocreated.ThePMGatiShaktiNationalMasterPlanhas helped in expeditious sanction of projects, monitoring of execution of works and co-ordination with other Ministries/StateGovernments.

It has been targeted to commission 100 Gati Shakti CargoTerminals.

National Logistics Portal (Marine) being developed as one stop digital platform for integrating all maritime stakeholders : MoPSW

NEW DELHI – The Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal informed the Parliament that Government has a proposal to adopt a maritime single window system as a partofthedigitizationinitiative.

National Logistics Portal (Marine) is being developed as a one stop digital platform where all maritime stakeholders are being integrated for easier and speedier services. Following are the features of the portal: a) Single Platform to perform all core activities of the Importer / Exporter / Customs Broker / Freight Forwarder. b) End-to-end functionality to perform online transactionwithcustodians. c) Providing a level playing field to relevant stakeholders. d) Completedomestictrackingoftheshipment. e) Realtimeinformationoftheactivities. f) Enhanced transparency in Government to Business relationsandEaseofdoingBusiness. g) Document Management System to store all the importantdocumentssecurely. h) Reducedcostsandtimeframesforexecutionoftrade andlogisticsoperations.
