With this, the Saksham Group of Companies launches ReCycle, Wheels of Change, with the objectiveofeffectingchangeinhumanbehaviourfor societal good through cycling. In keeping with the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (UNSDGs), the Group intends to effect positive societal change with SUSTAINABILITY based on the pillar of wellness, community, environmentandequality.
The Evolution of Recreational and Amateur Cycling
Cycling as a means of exercise has grown leap folds. Post covid, people wish to be healthy by taking up cycling. Cycling is an ecologically sustainable means of transportation. If cycling is promoted in both, the hybrid and on-ground model, acts and behaviour contributing to societal good can be recorded and rewarded with the intent to bring societal change.

ReCycle is an on-ground cycling event slated for 5th March, 2023 along with a digital engagement which will be launched two weeks prior. The on-ground event will have three categories comprising 25 kms, 15 kms and 10 kms. The digital event, will enable people to login their cycling miles which will be automated through the event app. The participants will be rewarded with ‘Karma Points’ fordoinggooddeeds.
The on-ground event will be a celebration of the people’s achievements of ‘Good Karma' and will also have an athletic component to go with it, with participants having to cycle distances of 25 kms, 15 kms and 10 kms. Participation in the digital format canbefromanywhereintheworld.
