KASEZ organizes Export Award function as part of 59th Foundation Day celebrations

Mr. Akash Taneja, Zonal DC, KASEZ commented: KASEZ contributes around 30% Exports from all the SEZs in India. In this an important role was played by KASEZ’s Officers, Staff, workers, unit holders for participating in growth of KASEZ journey. KASEZ worksasamajorroletomanufacturing hub by “Make in India” concepts the vision of PMShriNarendraModi.

Exports in all has increased to 13,740cr and will touch above Rs. 15,000 cr. from the Zonal Office. The achievement of 61% Growth to last year is been credited to officers and trade Industries. Last year Gujarat SEZ represented by KASEZ, Exports stood about Rs. 2,45,000 cr. This year about 1 lac. cr. is expectedtobeincreasedalmost20%inthisfiscalyear.

KASEZ is all set to declare new infrastructure site like a new STB, New Water tank to fulfil water shortage to SEZ’s area. KASEZ has increased Oxygen plants during covid period and also supplied to all over India which is a big achievement. KASEZ has decided to deploy CISF in Zone premises for better security and woman empowerment as requested by KASEZIA. He also felicitates to all the Top Exporters by zone authority for highest exports from KASEZ in Financial year2022-23.

Single window clearance under Single Windows system apartofvariouseaseofdoingbusinessmeasures.

Mr. Sanjay Mehta, IFS, Chairman, DPA commented : Deendayal Port Trust is a most important port of Country which has become a Mega port in very short time undertheconceptofPMGati ShaktiMasterplan.

DPA has appointed as a Chairman for Multimodal committee under Gati Shakti concept for Gujarat State. There are 3 major factors for economic development of Gandhidham Kutch i.e. Air connectivity, Rail connectivity and Road connectivity for Gandhidham city. Proposal has already put up to all concerned authority to be implemented shortly. All three connectivity plans is to be developed for overall growthofGandhidhameconomy.

We will upload on PM Portal for developing airport authority under Multimodal committee and get positive responsehopefully.

He said DPA is all set to establish Container Terminal at TunaTekrawithRs.5,000cr.investmentsandwillstartatthe earliest. That will be growth engine for entire economy of Gandhidham-KutchDistrict.

Tuna Tekra is to be developed as a modern mega port, and we will give proposal of 18 mtr depth in Tuna Tekra where the cape size Container Vessel will come in this Terminal.

Government has selected 3 Major Ports to build Green Energy for Hydrogen hub, i.e. Paradip Port, Tutucorin Port and Tuna Tekra Port. DPA is also working to make itself as Hydrogenhubaswehaveproposedexpressionofinterestin our portal recently and 10 companies are interested to come forHydrogenhub.

We are going to be a Mega port apart of Gati Shakti conceptbyPMShriNarendraModi.
