F aith -based opportunities on and around campus
A variety of churches and religious-affiliated student organizations are easily accessible for students who live on and around campus and are looking to practice their faith.

University of Iowa students looking to get involved with a religious community on campus or in the Iowa City area have several options when it comes to choosing organizations and places of worship. Coursework surrounding theology and religion are also offered through the UI Department of Religious Studies and Department of Philosophy. Other faith based student orgs include Muslim Student Association, the Imam Mahdi Association, Campus Christian Fellowship, Agape Chinese Student Fellowship. Salt Company, a college ministry of Veritas Church, is another popular option.
Students looking to get connected with any of these groups can search for them on
Engage (uiowa.campuslabs.com/engage) or other social media platforms. Many of them have information sessions at the beginning of each semester.

Areas of Religious Study:
