Chamber President’s Message

While I was growing up, one of my biggest heroes was – and still is today – my mom. She was an accountant by trade and worked for the local college. Often after work she would say, “I am going to help some friends with their accounts, books and financials.” She did not get paid to do this; she did this because she enjoyed what she did and believed in helping her friends and business community. I have taken away many valuable lessons from those words.

The Pleasant Grove-Lindon Chamber of Commerce has a strong heritage and strong partnerships and believes in building a better business community through these same principles and being a key player in our communities.

This year has been challenging one for our business community and residents with the onset of COVID-19. Our first thoughts were of you, your businesses and your families. What we have seen from our business community and communities has been outreach, concern and vision. Our main motto at the chamber has been “Where Relationships Matter,” and it has been on full display these last two to three months. During this pandemic, we have seen so many businesses change their service models, work together and build a stronger foundation going forward. It is our hope that we all emerge stronger and better positioned to create long-term success that will make us all a better business community moving forward.

Relationships do matter – they make us stronger and our communities better while creating a business community that advocates for the prosperity of our area businesses and communities. We appreciate the privilege we have of interacting with so many wonderful individuals and organizations and will strive to serve you in the coming years with these same values and the building of those relationships.
