Pleasant Grove Employee of the Year: Ria Hanna
Ria Hanna, office manager for the Pleasant Grove City Public Works Department, has been named Pleasant Grove City’s 2019 Employee of the Year.

Hanna began working for Pleasant Grove City in March of 2018 after spending 17 years working as office manager at Maywood Mutual Water Co. #1. She has always worked in an office setting with her duties including customer service. Her first job was a part-time position working for a print shop taking and processing orders while she was in high school.
She was born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, California, and lived in Orange County, California, before moving to Utah. She earned her associate’s degree in business administration at the National Education Center and earned her Water Distribution Certification from Citrus College.
Hanna said she loves getting to know the people she works with and the members of the public she works for.
