What are they doing now?

DEWITT COOPER (’91, Vocal) is the Co-CEO /Artistic Director of CooperMorgan Dance Theatre, a Professional Dance Company in its 14th season with fellow DA Alum SAVERY MORGAN. They also have a mentoring Warren Skeels program, artist/philanthropist award program, and a new school: The CM Experience. Currently, Cooper is also choreographing "The Lion King, Jr." and “In the Heights” for Players by the Sea.

WARREN SKEELS (’92, Film) owner of Skeels Films, Jacksonville, FL created MTV's hit reality television series Siesta Key. Skeels currently directs and serves as an executive producer on the series which premiered in July 2017 and is in its second season. Dewitt Cooper

DANIEL BREAKER (’98, Theatre) earned a BFA from Juilliard School and is currently playing Aaron Burr in the Braodway cast of Hamilton. Breaker has appeared in Shrek The Musical, The Performers, The Book of Mormon and Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park.

PATRICK HEUSINGER ('99, Theatre) a graduate of the Juilliard School, made his major motion picture debut in Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher: Never Go Back as the villian. Heisinger has had great success in televison, with roles in Absentia, Hulu's Casual and Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, and earlier roles in Gossip Girl, 30 Rock, The Good Wife, and Law and Order: SVU. He lives in Los Angeles. MARIE BROWN (’00, Dance) Marie Brown moved to Philadelphia in 2005 after graduating from Radford University with a BFA in Dance. While in Philadelphia, she had the honor to work with a variety of companies and independent artists such as Scrap Performance Group. BILLY MERRELL (’00, Creative Writing) graduated from UF and received his MFA in Poetry from Columbia University. In 2003, at the age of 21, he published his first book of poetry, Talking in the Dark. His most recent publication is Vanilla, a novel in verse published in 2017 by Scholastic Books. He currently lives and writes in New York City.
