Harris was born in Racine, Wisconsin on
April 19, 1868. At age 3, when his family fell on hard times, they moved to Vermont to live with Harris' paternal grandparents.

He attended Princeton University, the University of Vermont, and the University of Iowa. For the next ve years, he worked odd jobs for a newspaper as a salesman and a reporter, on fruit farms, as an actor and cowboy, and on cattle ships that travelled to Europe. Harris settled in the Beverly neighbourhood of Chicago, where he lived until his death on January 27, 1947. He began his law practice in 1896 in Chicago. In 1905, Harris organized the rst Rotary Club "in fellowship and friendship" with three clients, Silvester Schele, Gustavus Loehr, and Hiram Shorey. His initial goal was to create a club of professional and business men for friendship and fellowship. Early on, Harris realized that Rotary needed a greater purpose. While Harris served as president of the Chicago Rotary Club in 1907, the club initiated its rst public service project, the construction of public toilets in Chicago. This step transformed Rotary into the world's rst Service Club. Harris had great ambitions for the growth of Rotary, and very early in the organization's history new clubs were started, rst on the west coast, and then all over the US and in Europe.
By the time of Harris' death at the age of seventy-nine, Rotary International had grown to more than 200,000 members in 75 countries. Rotary International currently numbers 1.2 million members worldwide.

Mark Daniel Maloney is a principal in
the law rm of Blackburn, Maloney, and Schuppert LLC, with a focus on taxation, estate planning, and agricultural law. He represents large farming operations in the Southeastern and Midwestern United States, and has chaired the American Bar Association's Committee on Agriculture in the section of taxation. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association, and the Alabama Law Institute.

ROTARY INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT 2020-21
He has been active in Decatur's religious community, chairing his church's nance council and a local Catholic school board. He has also served as president of the Community Foundation of Greater Decatur, chair of Morgan County Meals on Wheels, and director of the United Way of Morgan County and the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce.
A Rotarian since 1980, Maloney has served as an RI director; Foundation trustee and vice chair; and aide to 2003-04 RI President Jonathan Majiyagbe. He also has participated in the Council on Legislation as chair, vice chair, parliamentarian, and trainer. He was an adviser to the 2004 Osaka Convention Committee and chaired the 2014 Sydney Convention Committee. Prior to serving as a district governor, Maloney led a Group Study Exchange to Nigeria.
He also served as Future Vision Committee vice chair; regional Rotary Foundation coordinator; Foundation training institute moderator; Foundation permanent fund national adviser; member of the Peace Centers Committee; and adviser to the Foundation's Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools Target Challenge Committee.

as disadvantaged and growing membership by a net gain of over 650. The district 9140 under his leadership emerged one of the Top three performing districts in the world and was so recognized at the Bangkok convention.
The membership growth he inspired has not only endured, it laid the foundation for the split of the district into two effective 1st July 2017.
He has served Rotary as Assistant Rotary coordinator, End Polio Zone Coordinator for English speaking Africa, the Rotary International Reach out To Africa (ROTA) water and sanitation coordinator, member of the Sao Paulo 2015 International Convention promotion committee, Nigeria National Polioplus committee, Regional Rotary Foundation coordinator (English speaking Africa, Zone 20A) and Endowment/Major Gift Adviser
OLAYINKA BABALOLA PAST ROTARY INTERNATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT
He is a registered Engineer, Member Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fellow of Nigerian Institute of safety Professionals (NISP) and member International Association of Change management Practitioners (ACMP). He is a Safety Management system Auditor. He worked for Shell oil in various senior positions retiring after 24 years to pursue his other interests.
He is the lead coach and facilitator at Lead and Change Consulting, an Executive/ leadership coaching, organization performance and behavior transformation advisory group.
He chairs the board of Riviera Technical services Ltd, an Oil and Gas infrastructure delivery out t.
Yinka started his Rotary journey as a Rotaractor in 1983. A Rotarian since 1993, Yinka is a member of the Rotary club of Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt District 9141, Nigeria. As club President in 2002-03, he won the Rotary International Global quest Award for highest percentage net membership gain worldwide and was recognized onstage at the Brisbane convention. The club with the sustained growth now has a membership of 85 and is the biggest in the district.
He has served as RI President's personal representative at District conferences, GETS training leader and International Assembly training leader.
He is on the Board of Rotary International as Director for the years 2018-2020 and will serve as Vice President of Rotary International for 2019-20..
He currently serves as a Vice Chair of the Rotary International End Polio now Countdown committee, member of the RI Membership Development committee, Joint RI/TRF Committee on Partnerships.
Rotarian Yinka is a Director of the Safeblood Africa project – A multi district Rotary initiative with a mission to improve the safety and expand the availability of blood in hospitals throughout Nigeria at the rst instance and the rest of Africa. He is a faculty member and the foundation Registrar of the Nigerian Division of the Rotary Leadership Institute
He is a recipient of the Rotary Service Above self-award – the highest recognition that can be given to a Rotarian by Rotary International. Other Rotary International recognitions include the Four avenues of service citation, Club Builder award, Regional polio service award and The Rotary foundation Citation for Meritorious service. He is also a recipient of several club and district level recognitions.
Yinka, is an Arch klumph society member, and a Rotary foundation benefactor. He has attended several local Rotary seminars and conferences, Zone and international institutes, and over 20 international conventions.
Yinka's spouse Precy is an Attorney, a past Rotaractor, and the union is blessed with children.
Yinka has served Rotary as Governor, raising over a million US dollars from an area normally considered

Virginia is result-oriented, and for her service to humanity, she received several awards including Rotary International District 9140 Best President in 2012/13, and her club recognised as best club in the district. She holds the RI Avenues of Service Citation 2016, RI District 9140 Best Assistant Governor Award 2014/15, Top Recruiter Award 2012/13, District 9140 Meritorious Service Award 2014/15 and District 9140 Award for Excellence 2015/16.
VIRGINIA MAJOR GOVERNOR 2020/2021, DISTRICT 9141
Virginia Major is a Pharmacist. She attended Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girls School, Elelenwo, Richmond International College, SheďŹƒeld, England and the University of Benin. Virginia joined Rotary in 2003, and has led high performing teams and delivered on every assignment. She served as a Board member of the Club of Port Harcourt for several years before moving to Club of Port Harcourt GRA as a charter member. She served the defunct District 9140, and now District 9141 in various capacities either as Chair or member; Extension, District Governor Installation, District Conference, Endowment Fund, Strategic Planning, West African Project Fair Planning, New Club Development, District grants subcommittee and Reception of RI President in 2018. She was also District Co-ordinator for struggling clubs and New Club Adviser in 2017/18. She is also got appointed to serve as chair,

Virginia Major has trained many Rotarians at various training programmes. She is currently a member of the Rotary Foundation Cadre of Technical Advisers, and a Faculty member of the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI), Nigeria Division. She is also a member of various Rotary fellowships and action groups. Widely travelled, Virginia Major has attended many Rotary International Conventions, Zonal Institutes and Project Fairs.
She is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, PSN as well as a member of the International Federation of Pharmacists, FIP. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, NIM. She is the founder and CEO of Positive Feedback International, Oddissy Ltd, Virgin Creeks Ltd, Capricas Drugs Ltd and Major Transformations. She is a John Maxwell certi ed Leadership Trainer, Life Coach and Public Speaker, and has passion for organization, motivation, leadership, mentorship and the youth. She holds prestigious title of Ama Opu Orubo of Opobo Kingdom, (A Distinguished Noble Woman) bestowed by His Majesty, the Amanayanabo of Opobo Kingdom. She was born into a loving family and has in turn nurtured an enviable close-knit family of outstanding children and grandchildren.

Brian was born in Nairobi, Kenya where he lived until he was 7 years old. He then moved to Des Moines, Iowa where he grew up. Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Psychology from the University of Iowa. He completed his Master's at the University of Florida in Anthropology, with a specialization in African studies and development administration.

He resides in Evanston, IL the home of Northwestern University and World Headquarters of Rotary International. Brian began working for Rotary in 2001. He has held a number of positions within The Rotary Foundation's development oďŹƒce including the Director of International Fundraising and Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations. He currently serves as the Director of Membership Development for Rotary International, a position he assumed in December 2014.
As Director of Membership Development, Brian leads a global team who develop and implement targeted eorts at the club, district, zone and organizational level, with the ultimate objective of strengthening each club's capacity to attract and engage a vibrant and diverse member base.
Brian is married and the father of two sons, Dillon and Ben. In his free time, Brian coaches youth soccer and enjoys running, gardening and most things outdoors. Brian is also a proud member of the Rotary Club of Evanston, a Rotary Foundation benefactor and a multiple Paul Harris Fellow.
