Letter From The LTG

Hello everybody!

I am super excited to be back in school and focusing more time on Key Club. Club meetings should be resuming soon so I hope that all of you are excited for that as well. It is important that you make to keep up with deadlines and start planning for RTC and Fall Rally.

With that, I hope you enjoy the rest of the newsletter!

Old Business

The literacy camp was a learning opportunity for elementary school students to get more help in writing and reading. The first day members got mainly kindergarten and first grade. They got to read books to them and help them write about a made up character. On the second day of the elementary school literacy camp they got older kids and also did new activities with them. They got to help them choose three books to keep that were donated by the community and also got to play spelling games with them.

On July st, our members were able to attend a kiwanis breakfast meeting to share some fun ideas and also a few of our upcoming events with the members. Lately, Ashley has had an obsession with sonny angels, small collectible figures. She decided to take her polar bear angel with her to the meeting, and he was a huge hit. She got to show some kiwanians her other figures and explain why they're collectible.

September DCM

Our September DCM will be held at Valley High School on September 6th. All officers are expected go, and feel free to invite your members!

RTC: RTC has now been moved to the 21st of October. Please plan accordingly with this, as well as making sure you get your payments in on time. Also make sure to email me with your club’s theme!
