JUNE DCM RECAP On Sunday June 12, members of key club gathered at plaza park to talk about important topics such as new community service projects as well as our OTC meeting also this June*. The meeting went from 5-7. Key club members stayed from 5-6 while the DLT team stayed from 6-7 to discuss the OTC presentations and coordination of the event. Our next DCM will be in July from 5-6 at Plaza Park.

Mount Whitney’s key club is sad about the school year coming to an end. With the end of the school year, this also means the temporary end of the club. However, Mount Whitney’s key club officers are ready for future DCMs and will be prepared for the next school year." - Submission by Mason, Madison
Key Club Articles and Visuals
El Diamante High School student Sydney Fifield (‘24) was appointed as the new Lieutenant Governor for Division 18E Key Club for the 2022-2023 school year. Fifield’s previous positions within Key Club include being division treasurer and news editor. There are many responsibilities when it comes to being a LTG such as ensuring “each club completes their MRF, turns in their editor submissions, has meetings, and has service events.” Fifield continues, “It feels really rewarding being the Lieutenant Governor because I get to use Key Club to influence other people's lives and encourage other people to help their communities. It can be overwhelming at times, but overall, I love it.” Submission by Weddle, Katelyn

El Diamante Key Club president, Barclay Avila, was asked to interview key club members for Member of the Month. The questions he asked were... "What is your favrite flavor of ice-cream?" " How long have you been in key club?" " What are you most looking forward to for key club next year?" "One piece of advice that you could give to new key club members in terms of being a good member?"
Member of the month, Sean Harwinder Dawali, says... Chocolate, 6 months, I am looking forward to taking part in new community service events, and you should always try to go to every single event possible. I would also like to mention Halle Mejia-Taylor who was also member of the month but had no response from her to write about.
