HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON MY SUPER SUPERVILLAINS!!

I can’t believe 2022 is already almost over… I hope all of you had a restful Thanksgiving break, and congratulations to the seniors for making it past UC and CSU applications!

Thank you to everyone who attended our November DCM and painting bonding, and we hope you had a great time sipping hot cocoa while painting with your friends!

But enough of November, get excited for all of the events to come this month! On December 10, we have our Candidate Training Conference with Regions 9 and 17 for any members who are interested in running for Division 12 South’s NEXT Lieutenant Governor (info is already up on @d12skeyclub on Instagram)! Please email (d12s.ltg@cnhkeyclub.org) or dm me (@cchloeha on Instagram) with any questions you may have about LTG, and I would be more than happy to answer them and give you some advice! On December 11, we have our special holiday service expo organized by your division and club service coordinators, and on December 17, we also have our annual December Ice-Skating DCM and D12E and D12W!

District and Division contests are opening up, so be sure to start working on your portfolios NOW so you won’t need to procrastinate later. If you have any questions about contests or would like to see previous portfolio examples, please contact LTG Chloe.

I hope you all are taking care of yourselves throughout the fall and winter seasons, and good luck to everyone taking finals soon! We are almost at Christmas break, so keep on pushing and persevering my supervillains! SEE YOU ALL IN 2023 KEY-UTIES <3

Happy Holidays KEYuties! It’s officially my favorite time of the year: CHRISTMAS!! We are approaching peak contests season so if you are applying for any District contests, I highly recommend you start ASAP. Be on the lookout for a workshop to ask any questions you may have and to get time to work on your eportfolio.

Oct DCM (Division Council Meeting) Recap

The November DCM was a more cozy DCM than the rest, as we are settling down after FRN and the weather gets colder. As a remedy to the cold weather, we enjoyed many cups of tasty hot chocolate served by our division leadership team! We also painted on cute little canvases for the rest of the event after celebrating our accomplishments as a division. I was especially proud to see my home club take home three awards of recognition this time. This included me being awarded officer of the month, which was something I was most surprised in!

Pumpkin Patch @ the Plex

Yerba Beuna - October 29, 2022

Pumpkin Patch at The Plex was one of the most fun experiences ever! There were a variety of tasks that volunteers helped out with, including supervising the bounce house, pumpkin decorating station, coloring station, pumpkin bowling, and raffle wheel! This event was unique because it was mainly children attending the event, meaning that we had to communicate with them in a way where they would have a fun experience. Overall, I loved this event as we volunteers got to have fun while providing the fun for children as well! Also, we got free pumpkins for volunteering !!

For Future Lungs Meeting

Valley Christian- October 6h, 2022

On 10/06, Key Club had a meeting that allowed us to make cards to send to kids and teens in Vietnam to encourage them to stop smoking. My friends and I attempted to create cards that would educate people and inform them of the harms from smoking while making it visually appealing for the teens/kids to actually learn from it. The meeting was super fun and engaging because it really tested my artistic skills while laughing it off with my friends.
