Happy November 1st Ballers! Throughout the last few months many clubs have recruited new members, so if it is your first time reading a D8 newsletter… Hi I’m Margo & I serve you as Division 8 News Editor and also as Jesse Bethel’s club President :) October was such a busy month, Spirit Socials and Fall Rally North were super fun! This month’s newsletter includes the NEW Division goals, a spotlight on Key Club International, and a FRN recapl. Let’s work to meet that new service hour goal, we’re only around halfway though the term and I know we can achieve it! Some service project ideas for this winter are to fundraise or donate Christmas gifts to children in need, or even knit scarves and blankets to donate as well! Hello, my lovely Ballers! I hope you all are absolutely THRIVING after Fall Rally North! This month, let’s keep up our high energy and funnel all of it into service. November is an especially great month to show your gratitude and give back to your community, such as through cleaning the parks around you, distributing free meals, or even helping out at food banks! My tip for you: sign up for as many events as you are able to! Get those service hours in and show off your dedication to Key Club, it will surely inspire others. KIWANIS FAMILY Celebrate and serve with the Kiwanis Family! Plan a meal with the 6 branches of the K-Fam, have Key Clubbers take over your local Kiwanis club’s meeting by hosting it, or send thank you notes to the Kiwanians.
PROVIDING BASIC NEEDS Help provide your community with basic needs! Clothing or food drives are perfect service projects for the month of giving. Let’s ensure that all people have the proper necessities to live. 15
