Hello key-uties >◡< My name is Marguerette Bui and I’m so excited to say that I’m your new 2021-2022 Division News Editor! I love to create aesthetic graphics, so I was very happy to hear that I got this position. I can’t wait to explore different themes and designs each month and hopefully improve my skills by the end of the term. I’m currently a freshman and incoming sophomore at Jesse Bethel High School, and I also serve as my home club’s president! This is my first issue so feel free to give me some constructive criticism! I want to get to know each and every one of you so don’t be afraid to say hi, I’m one dm away! As we near the end of the school year and summer creeps up, I hope you’re all doing your best to finish off strong, congratulations c/o ‘21 seniors, and I wish you all good luck on your AP tests and finals! Until next month,

2021-2022 Division 8 News Editor 02

Hello hello, Ballers! As school comes to an end, I hope you are all doing well. We are almost finished with all of our finals and exams and a summer full of service is approaching! This is a great opportunity to start earning some service hours for the upcoming term, while you have the time to do so. In addition, June is the perfect month to host a summer club bonding event to keep your members active and engaged!

l-o-v-e we love our ltg !

For the time being, Division events such as Officer Training Conference (be sure to sign up!) will still be held online. However, since vaccines were recently approved for 12-15 year olds, hopefully everyone is eligible to get their vaccines and we can slowly begin to move back to in-person events, as restrictions allow! I am looking forward to our exciting summer full of service! Rolling into Service, Miah Chao 2021-2022 Lieutenant Governor Division 8 | Region 9 California-Nevada-Hawai'i District Key Club International Cell/Text: (707) 771-8035

AMERICAN CANYON: Food Pantry

19

Today, I participated at the Food Pantry at 4225

Broadway Street with a couple of Key Clubbers I was excited to meet. We loaded boxes of food to be delivered to the aquatics center to be distributed to families. Everyone was so helpful whenever I had a

question. In my free time, I take every chance I get to go to either one or both of the food distributions. I love seeing how happy and helpful everyone is despite the harsh heat. Especially now that the food I package will

go towards people who need it. It puts a smile on my face, and I hope it does to them too.

Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion—most of it $1 at a time—for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most.
