LTG INTRODUCTION Hello hello, Division 8 Ballers! My name is Miah Chao and I have the great honor of serving you as your next Lieutenant Governor for the 2021-2022 term! From volunteering at community meals in Benicia to having impromptu karaoke sessions with the Division, Key Club has truly changed my life for the better and allowed me to meet so many extraordinary people. I look forward to continuing to make wonderful memories with you all and serving our homes, schools, and community! I can’t wait for all that is to come!

This annual event is hosted by our local Kiwanis and raises funds for charity by selling crab dinners. Our members are asked to help distribute the dinners to the incoming cars, stir the infamous pot of sauce, and help keep the entire event organized and running smoothly.

Benicia, in partnership with the Benicia Kiwanis, had a succulent fundraiser on Saturday, April 3rd from 11 am to 3 pm. Members signed up to help sell succulents on First Street to earn service hours.

Every day 1 in 8 babies born in the U.S. arrives too soon. Premature birth can happen to any pregnant woman, and no one knows why. It is a serious, common and costly problem. Key Club members are helping by raising thousands of dollars annually for the March of Dimes Youth Program to help prevent prematurity.

The March of Dimes currently focuses on two major goals in their Prematurity Campaign: ● Raising awareness of prematurity ● Reducing the rate of premature birth
