As an immigrant growing up in the UAE, I never felt like I belonged to any culture or community. And that is maybe when I started relying on art to feel included. I sought out various filmmakers, niche photographers, and eccentric architects to help shape my life. I want to strive to create spaces that are so well thought out and refined that the inhabitant feels like it was made for him and that he belongs.
