• This is Mr. Persinger’s 14th year to coach. The Lady Pirates softball team has been to the state tournament 13 of those 14 years!
• Crickett (Alexis Chrismon) remembers the Lady Pirates Slow Pitch team hitting 16 runs in one inning during a game in spring 2022.

• Julie “Moser” Poteete says that Cyril’s first softball team was in the fall of 1975 and they made it to state. There was only one class at that time so they had to play Putnam City West! Needless to say, they didn’t win but they did their best to represent!
Donnie Meason was the coach that first year.
