R E S E R V A T I O N S 1. Decide how many people will be in your party. 2. Pick your dates and maybe an alternate set, too. 3. Select your perfect boat from this Fleet Guide or go to www.cyoacharters.com for more information. 4. Contact us at 800-944-2962 or info@cyoacharters.com to see if the boat you are interested in is available for your dates. We will put a hold on your boat for 48 hours while you verify flight availability and sort out travel arrangements. 5. Download and complete an Application to Charter/Skipper’s Resume from our web site and get it back to us right away so you can be sure that you are qualified for the boat you want to charter. If we have any questions, we’ll call or email you. 6. You must be qualified to charter from CYOA. If you are unsure about your qualifications you can always submit an Application to Charter for pre-approval. Just let us know what boat you are thinking of and we will let you know if you can be pre-qualified, or if you’ll need to think about hiring a Sailing Guide. 7. Once your approved application is on hand you must confirm your reservation with a payment. Typically, a deposit of 50% of your charter fee is required on a major credit card. Special offers and last minute bookings usually require full payment. Download the Credit Card Authorization Form from our web site and submit it to our office to lock in your reservation. 8. If you are concerned about any pre-existing medical conditions (for yourself or any member of your crew) that may crop up and cause a problem, you should purchase Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance within seven days of placing your initial reservation deposit. You can buy this insurance any time you want to, but pre-existing conditions are usually excluded if the insurance is not purchased immediately after booking. 9. Once all of your paperwork has been reviewed and approved and your deposit is received, we will mail or email a Contract Package to you. This package will include the Charter Contract, Provisioning and Beverage order forms along with general information about chartering in the area.

CHANGE IN PLANS? If you need to cancel your charter, change your dates or change boats, you must notify us in writing. If your contract has not yet been issued, we will assist you anyway we can, subject to availability. However, if your contract has been issued, any change is considered a cancellation and is subject to our cancellation policy. If you are only changing dates and not changing boats, you can make any necessary changes for a $150 change fee, subject to availability.

CANCELLATION POLICY If you cancel 91 days or more prior to your charter, you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of $300 PLUS 10% of any amount that we have charged to a credit card. If you cancel 90 days or closer to your charter, there are no refunds or re-bookings. Refunds are made in the same manner as the payment was received.
