Going over the finish line jump he flipped down the track in a crazy crash. The crew ran to him thinking he was really hurt but Monk got up and finished fourth. Kawasaki rider Ryan George took the lead and went on to win the moto, along the way clearing the uphill triple every lap. Husky rider Shawn Kelly finished second with Kawasaki rider William Grothaus third. In the second moto Monk and George were locked in a great battle. Monk wanted to prove his crash in the first moto should have been a moto win, and win he did giving him second overall for the day. George finished second and took the overall. Kelley finished third for the moto.
