The Foundation was established in 1996 by a group of citizens to ensure that the quality of education for students is maintained at a high standard. Independent of the school district, this group of volunteers strives to carry out the mission “to raise, steward and distribute resources to enrich the education of students in the St. Joseph Public Schools.” The St. Joseph Public School Foundation is committed to securing and delivering the needed support for excellence in the St. Joseph Public Schools. In doing so, the Foundation will maintain, expand and enhance the educational opportunities of our children and, thus, the future of the community. We can offer no greater gift to our children than to dedicate ourselves to educational excellence. A Major Fundraising Effort and a Commemorative Opportunity! The Achieving Excellence Brick by Brick campaign is an opportunity for everyone to become a permanent part of the new campus facility by purchasing an engraved brick for installation on the plaza at the new entrance to the high school or new Performing Arts Center entrance.

The funds raised will allow us to provide additional equipment, materials, and programming to enhance our new surroundings as well as take the next step for our students to 1 to 1 computing. Funds raised from PAC brick sales will allow Band and Orchestra Parents to carry on their excellence in music education program including Artists in Residence, uniform and instrument purchases, and student summer camp scholarships.
