HAPPY MARCH!

March is Woman’s History Month!! While we have come a long way, this past year shed light on how fragile our autonomy is and how much further we must go.

This month's content mission is focused on amplifying "Her Story," aka YOUR story, because representation matters.

We have written dozens of notes celebrating the people in our lives, but how many letters have you written celebrating yourself? Take stock, celebrate your journey, and mark it in solid C+C gold. That piece around your neck, close to your heart, on your finger, and ear that reminds you to keep going is your everyday armor.

I never set out to create a brand. I was and still am in love with manufacturing. Creating fuels me. Going from concept to complete execution is why I truly fell in love with the jewelry industry. In my early 20s, my boss threw me to the wolves. I was our company's Jewelry Director of Production, responsible for creating relationships with our manufacturers in Italy and China. I was intimidated and nervous and had to learn to navigate the nuances of 2 very different yet similarly male-dominated cultures.

Here are some of the things I learned. You cannot fast-forward experience -you have to live it. Bad experiences teach you how to create good ones and are necessary to learning. Other people's opinion of you is none of your business. Progress may seem slow, but progress is progress. Keep going!
