SSO: STUDENT ID CARDS • • • • •

Student ID cards are required for all CGSB students, online or face-to-face. ID cards allow access to the CGSB building and provide 24/7 access to Level 2 and should be worn at all times while in the building. Building access is not available until your completed form is submitted and processed. Student ID cards also act as Curtin Library cards, giving you access to library services and borrowing privileges. Any ID cards not collected at the end of Orientation may be collected at the SSO during office hours in Week 1.

SSO: ENROLMENT • •

• •

Enrolment should be finalised preferably prior to trimester commencement. By choosing units, you are committing to study them in the delivery mode offered (i.e. face-to-face, online or intensive) for the duration of the trimester/study period. Where there is more than one offering of the same unit taking place on the same night, you will be allocated to a particular class and must remain in that allocation for the duration of the study period. The end of Week 1 is the deadline for adding a unit to your course of study, contingent on availability. It is always a student’s responsibility to enrol on time, ensure enrolment is correct and make any changes to enrolment via the required form or in eStudent with reference to census dates and your course structure. Students considering taking a break from study need to apply for a Leave of Absence, or withdraw from the course.

SSO: ENROLMENT • • • • •

Please choose your units referring to the CGSB timetables (see Plan Your Study on the CGSB homepage) and your course structure in e-Student. Click on Unit Availability and Timetables found under Plan Your Study on the CGSB homepage. These list all units at the CGSB in a given calendar year and the delivery mode(s) offered. Always check the CGSB website for the latest timetable listings. Not all units are available in every mode in every trimester.

Re-enrolment for 2013 (same course) • When you enrol for 2013, enrol for the whole year. Check for 2013 timetables on the CGSB website in November. • Re-enrolment information is sent via OCC in October each year. NB: On completion of GCB, GDB, MBA or MBL a new application must be submitted for other CGSB courses based on competitive entry application requirements and deadlines.
