Um casal de artistas (uma pintora/performer e um fotógrafo) vive um duplo isolamento – isolamento da cidade, pois moram num ateliê na parte velha do centro do Recife, mas não interagem com esse entorno, e um isolamento afetivo/conjugal instaurado entre os dois. “Corpo oco” captura o espectro de uma separação.

A couple of artists (a painter/performer and a photographer) experience a double isolation – isolation from the city, because they live in a studio in the old part of the center of Recife but do not interact with its surroundings, and an affective/conjugal isolation established between themselves. “Hollow body” captures the spectrum of a separation.

Pedro Severien

Pedro Severien é realizador audiovisual, professor, pesquisador e ativista. Seus curtas-metragens Canção para minha irmã (2012) e Loja de Répteis (2014), entre outros, foram exibidos em dezenas de festivais nacionais e internacionais.Possui mestrados em Produção de Cinema e Televisão pela Universidade de Bristol na Inglaterra e em Comunicação pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.

Pedro Severien is an audiovisual diretor, teacher, researcher and activist. His short movies Canção para minha irmã (2012) and Loja de Répteis (2014), among others, were screened in dozens of national and international festivals. He has a master’s degree in Cinema and TV Production from the University of Bristol in England and in Communications from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
