CHILDREN’S MINISTRY CREATED BY GOD PARENT INFORMATION SESSION JANUARY 18 • 8 PM For parents of our 4th and 5th graders, we will have a Zoom Information session on January 18 at 8 pm. This will be a time to have any questions answered about the content covered during Created by God and to determine if it is the right time for your child to participate in this weekend. CENTENARY HELPS STUDENTS SUCCEED Did you know that we partner with 4 different schools in Winston-Salem to help provide food for students? We do so through either food pantries or a special ministry called the Backpack Program. Schools determine students who may not have access to food over the weekend and are partnered with an organization through the Second Harvest Food Bank. They receive boxes of meals that are distributed to the students. Centenary partners with Brunson Elementary and Wiley Middle School for the Backpack Program, and Reynolds High School and the Winston Salem Street School for food pantries. Are you interested in partnering with us to help students gain access to food? You can do so by contacting Anna Thomas (athomas@ centenary-ws.org/ext 1332). CONGREGATIONAL CARE STEPHEN MINISTRY In the beginning, a Care Receiver said of her situation, “I don’t know if I can do this.” At the end of our time together, she said, “I have hope, and feel I can do this now.” That’s what a caring relationship is all about...someone facing a struggle getting over the hump.
