FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA) To apply for federal student aid, such as federal grants, work-study, and loans, you need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Completing and submitting the FAFSA is free, and it gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college. Your FAFSA helps us to determine your eligibility for state and school aid. Visit fafsa.gov to get started.

FINANCIAL NEED The difference between how much it costs to attend CU and your family's expected contribution towards those costs.

COST OF ATTENDANCE (COA) The cost of attendance (COA) includes your tuition, fees, housing, meals, books, transportation and personal costs to attend CU.
