The Executive, a Shoot Through version of the successful DS-3800, tweaked for the tournament shooter. Its redesigned riser and new limb pocket design are the results of our continued efforts to improve an already great bow. With its 7” brace height, we have reduced the fatigue factor that can become an issue at any shoot, while retaining most of the performance and all of the favorable attributes of the 3800. With the balanced design only found with a Darton Shoot Through, we have produced the ideal 3D bow.
“The Perfectly Balanced Shooter System” Darton introduces the first truly balanced Shooting System. Never before has there been a bow with all these symmetrical and synchronized attributes. With the bowstring in the center of a completely symmetrical system, with dual cable rods, the cable tension is equal on both sides of the cam, totally eliminating cam lean. With the riser being symmetrical and not subject to creating its own twisting forces it can direct all the force directly behind the shot and in line with the center of the arrow producing unparalleled forgiveness. The advantages of the DualSync Cam System are very evident with the Vegas and Executive series of bows. If you want to fine-tune the way your bow feels when entering the valley, adjust the perimeter draw stop against the let-out cable to get the feel you are looking for. With this synchronized cam system these bows will always have straight nock travel with less sensitivity to tuning and grip pressures than any other cam system available today.
