RESIDENTIAL TSAWWASSEN MIXED-USE RESIDENTIAL Size: 169,470 sq.m Location: Delta, BC Typology: Mix-Use The Tsawwassen Mixed-Use Residential project features an inclusion of art and water as an integral part of the landscape. Conceptually, this project addresses an aging population and creates a fresh community. More than 50% of the units are designed to be adaptable. And, in order to create a sense of community and foster the opportunity of knowing one’s neighbours, we have purposefully eliminated cold, sterile, impersonal corridors. The residential units are clustered around vertical circulation cores which facilitate interactions between neighbours and create relationships that are so crucial to an aging population.
