Taking pride in the interiors of the bar which are delicately designed, Kapoor says, “Rubicon is one such bar in the Delhi/NCR region which is highly elegant with high arm chairs, Italian marble all over the space and the interiors done by Hirsh Bedne, who is the designer of the hotel as well.” Apart from the private space given to each guest there is a private area in the bar, where one can hold their cloistered parties.

The whole feel of the bar is more relaxed and private as compared to the other bars we visited (our verdict). One can come here post or pre dinner or after you are over with a banquet function to grab your share of peace. Explaining the design element further, Kapoor says “the entire wood that you can see in Rubicon is from Japan. You will have assortment of delicacies like guacamole, nachos with salsa and more. You will also get dishes from Spain where ever ything will be in mini sizes like mini pizzas etc. Also we have salads and Mexican tacos. The food we serve here comes with a purpose. We want the guests to enjoy eating comfortably while talking to their friends. So the size of these snacks are intentionally kept handy”, says Alvarez. “The prices at Rubicon are actually above average. Here we have maximum number of clienteles coming from US and UK and they understand their single malts and cognacs” says Kapoor. A single Malt can cost you around `600-700, where a good 50 year old malt can cost up to `25,000.
