• Concrete Admixtures xypex Admix c-500 Xypex is a unique chemical treatment xypex Admix c-1000 for the water-proofing, protection and improvement of concrete. Is added to the concrete mix at the time of batching. Consists of Portland cement, very fine treated silica sand and various active, proprietary chemicals. These active chemicals react with the moisture in fresh concrete and with the by-products of cement hydration to cause a catalytic reaction which generates a non-soluble crystalline formation throughout the pores and capillary tracts of the concrete. Thus the concrete becomes permanently sealed against the penetration of water or liquids from any direction. The concrete is also protected from deterioration due to harsh environmental conditions.
Xypex Admix C-500 is specifically formulated to meet modern concrete practices that incorporate additives such as fly ash and slag. Dosage: No Fines Grade: 1% - 1.5% by weight of cement.
Xypex Admix C-1000 is designed for typical Portland cement-rich concrete, where normal to a mild retarded set is desired. Dosage: 2% - 3% by weight of cement.

• Megamix I Megamix I 47.5 sq. ft. 60# pail XYPEX MEGAMIX I is a thin parge coat for the waterproofing at 1/8" thickness and resurfacing of vertical masonry or concrete surfaces, as a cap coat for Xypex Concentrate, or as an architectural rendering. Megamix I is a unique blend of portland cement, treated silica sand, fibers and proprietary chemicals. It is mixed with Xycrylic Admix to produce enhanced bond. Megamix I is applied by brush or trowel up to a thickness of 3/8”. The high performance characteristic of Megamix I are enhanced by Xypex’s unique crystalline waterproofing and protection technology. Note: For patching or resurfacing deteriorated concrete, requiring a thicker parge coat, (between 3/8” and 2”), refer to the product data sheet for Xypex Megamix II. • Megamix II Megamix II XYPEX MEGAMIX II is a thick repair mortar for the patching and resurfacing of deteriorated concrete. Megamix II has been specifically formulated to produce superior bond, low shrinkage, chemical durability and high strength. It is a one component mortar and can be either sprayed or trowel applied at a thickness of 3/8 in. to 2 in. The high performance characteristics of Megamix II are enhanced by Xypex’s unique crystalline waterproofing and protection technology.
