One of the real pleasures of sailing on one of our ships is the warm and welcoming atmosphere and the restful, easy elegance of the places and spaces on board.

We take particular care over our beautifully decorated sitting rooms, the comfortable and cosy bars and libraries and, for when the weather is good, wide open decks and outdoor spaces to feel the air and take in the view.

One of the prettiest and most peaceful places aboard our ships, The Oriental Tea Room is a lovely sitting room for enjoying a morning coffee, an elegant cocktail or for one of our rare tea-tasting experiences, hosted by specialist tea sommeliers. Decorated in beautiful soft colours and silks, our tea room is civilised and easy, the perfect place to write post-cards, to read a book, or to watch the world go by.

So many of our guests are lovers of nature, and cruise with us because they want to see and know more about the Earth, its environments and habitats, and the creatures that live in them. This special new library and lounge (on Bolette and Borealis) is dedicated to those interests. Here you’ll find a library of books, especially curated by Fred. Olsen, that explore life on Earth, the importance of environmental protection, and the wonders of nature.
