28.01. – 17.02.2024

Our journey begins in Sydney. From here, we set sail on an exciting voyage of discovery along the coasts of mainland Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. First stop: Paradise! The coastal town of Eden on the Sapphire Coast fully deserves its name – an opinion that is shared by the whales who swim near to the shore! Passing Melbourne, we head for Tasmania. Here we will meet the world’s smallest penguins as well as Tasmanian devils and many other species that are only found here. Reaching New Zealand, we will pay leisurely visits to both the South and North Islands where you can take your time to enjoy the enchanting landscapes and friendly locals.

• Book an extra overland programme to Uluru (formerly also known as Ayers Rock) to immerse yourself in the magic of this special location and the history of the Aboriginal people that hold it sacred. • We allow plenty of time for you to relax and soak up the natural beauty of Tasmania and New Zealand. • Our arrival in Tasmania coincides with the hatching season for the world’s smallest penguins, so you should be able to admire their chicks up close in Burnie. • One breathtaking natural spectacle follows the next on this leg of the journey. You will discover lush green national parks, turquoise blue lagoons, spectacular fjords and many other highlights along this scenic stretch of the cruise. • Climbing, kayaking, hiking, swimming, scuba diving and so much more: the sky is your limit! • Follow the trail of Gandalf, Bilbo and Gollum and visit some of the spectacular locations where Lord of the Rings was filmed.

Why choose this cruise? Time to discover.

In New Zealand, “kiwi” refers not only to the world’s smallest (and definitely cutest!) flightless bird. Here on these two islands on the other side of the world, “Kiwi” also refers to the local population, their style of barbecuing and their currency – to name just a few of the uses for the word.
